The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta has floated colorful shapes above the Albuquerque area since 1972.
The annual October event attracts thousands to watch and participate. Since I don't much like crowds or traffic
I do not attend the official events even though they take place only a couple of miles away. However, most years I
am treated to my own private show in my own yard. This series of photos shares that show with you.
Occassionally, but not often a balloon lands right here in the neighborhood. This year was one of those years.
